The holiday season is upon us, right? So, what better way for a gallery to celebrate the year-end festivities than to have a large group show featuring many of the gallery’s stock artists? B. Sakata Garo has done just that. The gallery’s current show, titled Holiday Art Exhibit, has work hanging and sitting by over 30 local favorites, which include Fred Dalkey, Jimi Suzuki, Tony Natsoulas, Jack Ogden and others. And, if you think about it, having a show like this is not only a great way to reflect on the artists and shows of the past year, while wrapping it up into a neat little summary of events, but it’s also a great way for grab a unique last-minute gift from a solid cross-section of Sacramento talent. Holiday Art Exhibit is at B. Sakata Garo, 923 20th St., and runs through Dec. 31.
